Job Description

Our 2-year Transformation and IT programme starting on 5th September 2022 is designed to provide you with the skills and experience to help you progress your career in Technology and Change delivery and contribute to Arbuthnot Latham’s continuing success. The Transformation & IT functions sit within the Chief Operating Office and the programme will give you broad exposure to the planning, design and delivery of change and transformation across all areas of Arbuthnot Latham (Private and Commercial Banking and Wealth Management). It will be delivered in a form of on-the-job rotations, overviews from other parts of the Bank, exposure to Senior Leaders and opportunities to work on projects.

The Transformation & IT Graduate Programme is designed for candidates currently studying towards a degree level qualification, seeking the first step on their professional career.

During the programme, you can expect to:

  • Gain an understanding of the Bank’s strategic business priorities and transformation roadmap
  • Build an in depth understanding of the Bank’s Change Management Framework (the methodologies, processes and tools used to deliver change and projects across the Bank)
  • Build knowledge of the Bank’s Operating Model (how people, processes and technology are organised across the business in order to deliver products and services to our clients)
  • Work as part of a diverse team contributing to their team deliverables
  • Build the breath experience through on-the-job learning
  • Take part in a structured training programme covering technical industry knowledge, professional and soft skills
  • Gain an understanding of our products and services and how they meet the needs of our clients
  • Be empowered to build your leadership skills and agile thinking
  • Develop relationship management skills and build your professional network
  • Contribute your ideas and knowledge to a project
  • Gain exposure to senior leaders, mentors and different areas of Bank

We aim to make our application process as simple and as straight forward as possible, but also want to ensure candidates have the appropriate skills for the roles that they are applying for.  Registration is simple and, if eligible for the programme, you will be sent a 30-45 minute online assessment as part of the application process.  If you are successful at the assessment we will be in touch shortly after to arrange the two stage interview process.

The successful candidate must have the right to work in the UK. Our early career roles are not eligible for company visa sponsorship.
