Job Description

Job Purpose

To work as part of a team of 4 receptionists delivering a 5 star front of house service to clients, guests and staff at Arbuthnot House. To provide clients and staff with an impeccable standard of service throughout each working day, striving to impress at each and every opportunity.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Meeting and greeting clients and visitors

  • Switchboard management for the business

  • Meeting room management

  • Processing bookings for private client breakfasts, lunches & dinners

  • Assisting in the training of new staff to the reception team

  • To liaise and assist the Events Coordinator to organise in-house events

  • Work closely with the catering team regarding all aspects of catering requirements

  • Liaise with Facilities to ensure meeting rooms are maintained to a high standard

  • General administration duties

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • High level of interpersonal skills

  • High level of professionalism

  • Experience of working within a reception role in a corporate environment

  • Skilled at relationship and rapport building

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office along with a good level of keyboard skills

  • Professional  & eloquent phone manner
