Role overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑driven Treasury professional to help enhance our reporting capabilities, support daily liquidity and cashflow management, and contribute to a range of critical initiatives. From producing insightful MI and improving Power BI reporting, to executing interbank trades and supporting our FX and collateral management activities, this role offers broad exposure and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a highly collaborative and respected Treasury team.
- Support Treasury with the production of new and improved reporting including PowerBI.
- Support in the management of daily cashflow and liquidity. Support in the transition and management of pre-positioned Treasury assets. Compilation of data and production of reports. Assisting with Treasury business systems and projects. Execution of Treasury interbank transactions. To provide cover for fx execution when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily desk duties including assisting in managing the daily cash requirements and maintain liquidity within all currencies as required.
- Execution of client fixed term deposit transactions.
- Execution and management of interbank trades via online platform and ensure no counterparty limits are broken.
- Assist with the accurate booking of security transactions in the core banking system.
- Assist with the management of corporate actions relating to bank securities holdings.
- Accurate recording of benchmark rates in Treasury systems.
- Responsible for collateral margin management - undertake daily analysis of margin requirements for outstanding derivative contracts and initiate payments if required.
- Analyse daily MI reports on fixed term deposit trades.
- Analyse and correct any reconciliation issues involved with Treasury entries.
- Collating and producing interest rate risk MI for senior management and committee meetings.
- Compile MI and produce competitor analysis on interest rates for fixed term deposits.
- Provide Certificate of Deposit revaluation reporting for MI to Finance.
- Collaborate with Front Office teams on client enquiries, fixed term deposits, and client-based projects.
- Assist in day-to-day oversight of Arbuthnot Direct including daily reporting and cashflow monitoring.
- Assist with test script creation.
- Execute systems testing across SIT, UAT and Prod and raise issues as appropriate.
- Assist with testing bug fixes and change requests for the banking systems
- Liaise with operational teams, if necessary, on trade settlements, and deposit issues to remediate transactions
Foreign Exchange (to provide cover when colleagues are off)
- Process FX deals.
- Maintain accurate treasury MI including FX
- Onboard clients onto the FX portal.
- Deal with client FX portal queries.
Level C Collateral Pools
- Execute the movement of securities across custodians in line with collateral requirements.
Other
- Review and update of Risk Policies and procedures when required.
- Comply with departmental policies and procedures for conducting buy/sell trades, maintaining and collating MI pertaining to profitability and revenue, and observing compliance with applicable limits as approved by the Board and its delegated authorities.
- Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard sensitive information.
- Compliance to ensure that you understand and adhere to Arbuthnot Latham; and where appropriate comply with all relevant regulatory policies. This includes completion of any mandatory training requirements.
- Collate and improve Management Information.
- Project work as and when required.
- Assist with audit requests

Maintaining excellent relationships with Private Banking, Commercial Banking, Credit Teams, Marketing, Finance, Treasury-Ops, Payments, Client Service Teams, project teams, and the wider Treasury Team
