Job Purpose
Working within a small but highly skilled IT team, the Integration & Agentic Solutions Engineer will be responsible for the design, build, documentation and ongoing evolution of Asset Alliance Group’s integration and agentic automation capabilities.
The role will deliver secure, scalable API integrations using MuleSoft, define and publish Open API standards for customers and suppliers, and design, build and operate Salesforce agentic agents to support business workflows.
This role plays a critical part in enabling straight‑through processing, partner connectivity, automation, and the safe adoption of agentic technologies within a regulated asset finance environment
Job Description
MuleSoft Integration & API Delivery
- Design, build and implement new API‑led integrations using MuleSoft, following API‑led connectivity principles (System, Process and Experience APIs).
- Maintain, enhance and optimise existing MuleSoft APIs, ensuring performance, resilience, version control and alignment to changing business needs.
- Own API lifecycle management, including design standards, versioning, deprecation and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal product, platform and architecture teams to ensure integrations support strategic roadmap goals across core systems (e.g. finance, CRM, supplier and customer platforms).
Open API Standards & Partner Enablement
- Define, document and publish a set of Open API standards for use by customers, suppliers and third‑party partners.
- Ensure APIs are designed with security, scalability and ease of adoption in mind, including authentication, authorisation and monitoring standards.
- Act as a technical authority for external integrations, supporting onboarding and ensuring adherence to published standards.
Salesforce Agentic Design & Implementation
- Design, build and implement Salesforce agentic agents (including autonomous and semi‑autonomous agents) to support all business areas as part of a digital transformation project
- Translate business use cases into agentic workflows, prompts, rules and orchestration logic aligned to governance and risk requirements.
- Utilise Mulesoft tool such as Agent Fabric,Vibes, AI Gateway (LLM/MCP/A2A) to integrate agents into existing flows, data models and processes.
Agent Control, Monitoring & Governance
- Implement control, monitoring and observability for Salesforce agents, including usage, decisioning outcomes, errors and exceptions.
- Ensure agent behaviour aligns with internal policies, regulatory expectations and audit requirements appropriate to asset finance.
- Support continuous improvement of agent performance through monitoring, tuning and controlled evolution of agent capabilities.
Technical Leadership & Best Practice
- Act as a subject matter expert for MuleSoft, APIs and Salesforce agentic technologies.
- Contribute to architectural standards, integration patterns and technical governance.
- Support knowledge sharing, documentation and upskilling across the wider technology team.
- Work closely with security, risk and compliance colleagues to ensure solutions meet enterprise and regulatory standards.
