Job Description

Renaissance Asset Finance (RAF) provide unregulated fixed term finance to its chosen customer market of small and medium sized enterprises and high net worth individuals.  These are generally introduced to RAF via a network of brokers with whom RAF establishes close working relationships.  The majority of the assets financed by RAF comprise of higher value private cars, collectors’ cars, purpose built taxis, coaches and other specialist vehicles.  RAF also funds the purchase of a range of commercial plant and machinery as well as a limited volume of business critical soft assets.  RAF prefers to finance assets that have strong collateral characteristics and identifiable second hand markets.
 
Renaissance Asset Finance Limited (RAF) was established by its founder shareholders in February 2014.  Following the exchange of contracts on 20th December 2016 between RAF’s shareholders and Arbuthnot Latham & Co., Limited (AL), and subsequent regulatory approval, RAF became a wholly owned subsidiary of AL in April 2017. 
 
  • Act as first point of contact for internal and external customers.Deal effectively with all enquiries, complaints and notifications, assessing priority, giving advice as appropriate and taking suitable action.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Responding to customer calls and emails, resolving queries efficiently and effectively
  • Asset substitutions, novation’s and unwinding agreements as required
  • Completing asset inspections / audits’
  • Completing due diligence reviews of high risk customers’
  • Maintaining CRM database for all customer/broker details
  • Registering and removing charges from Companies House
  • Guiding customers through the end of lease process
  • Issuing required letters/emails, settlements quotes throughout the life of each customer agreement
  • Daily direct debit collection
  • Retrieving and investigating daily HPI React notifications
  • Completing insurance checks on our assets
  • Completing broker set ups and annual reviews, compiling annual statistics and completing searches to present to credit for approval
  • Management of documents and data, distribution and filing of documents
  • Upkeep of office supplies and general office admins duties

  • Responsible for managing risks inherent to the role by diligently observing internal policies and procedures.

Person Specification

Knowledge/Experience/Skills:

  • Good communication skills – both written and oral
  • Ability to handle high workloads without impact on accuracy and quality of work
  • Self-motivated and pro-active individual with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Good knowledge of word, outlook and excel
  • Asset Finance background desirable
 

Qualifications:

  •  Minimum of 5 GCSE qualifications grade A-C
