Job Description
This role will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintain the Banks Network and Telephony platform.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all incidents and requests are processed within SLA and in line with customer expectations.

  • Perform rountine operational and maintenance to safeguard the health and stability of services.

  • Process event management notifications in line with ITIL framework.

  • Ensure problems are identified and managed in line with the ITIL framework. 

  • Create and process change requests for infrastructure services.

  • Identify and document technology risks and provide solutions to reduce, mitigate or transfer the risk.

  • Produce process documentation and knowledge base articles to ensure compliance with applicable standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS and legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Safeguard and deliver operational maintenance in line with agreed schedules.

  • Provide coaching and advice to other areas of IT to help empower and knowledge transfer to other teams.

Person Specification

Knowledge / Experience

  • Meraki Routing and Switching

  • Advanced routing and switching including Dynamic Arp Inspection, 802.1x, Dynamic Routing(OSPF, BGP) and Quality of Service

  • Firewall administration including PaloAlto and Cisco Next Generation Firewall administration

  • Meraki Wireless

  • Mitel Telephony

  • Monitoring solutions including Pingdom and SolarWinds

  • Management of ISP and Telephony

  • Financial Services background would be beneficial but not essential

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

  • Strong team player but equally able to work on own initiative

  • Proven track record of troubleshooting/problem solving skills

Qualifications

  • ITIL Foundation v4

  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA)

  • Cisco Cerified Network Professional (CCNP) desirable
