Job Description
Job purpose
 
To support the development, implementation and ongoing management of the digital proposition for Arbuthnot Latham Banking, Credit, Investment Management and Wealth Planning products.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to improve the operating model via the digital proposition in order to improve the client experience, make cost savings and increase efficiency 
  • Conduct cost/benefit and impact assessments, and build the business case for change. Present proposals for approval to relevant committees and meetings and secure stakeholder buy-in 
  • Deliver against approved design briefs, implement digital initiatives on time and on budget. Establish and co-ordinate working parties and project teams where required for delivery
  • Ensure developments meet the needs of clients and regulatory frameworks
  • Review new and maintain existing contractual documentation with third party digital service providers, maintain a register of digital services and solutions 
  • Enhance existing and create new operational procedures, and ensure end users are trained and tested initially and ongoing
  • Effectively communicate service and process changes and key business initiatives
  • Monitor and sustain the business benefits generated by digital change
  • Provide ongoing support to include responding to technical and service queries from front and back office, service providers etc and issue resolution 
  • Monitor and be aware of market and competitor activity to identify opportunities for Arbuthnot Latham
  • Responsible for managing risks inherent to the role by diligently observing internal policies and procedures

Working with all key stakeholders across Arbuthnot Latham Investment Management, Wealth Planning, Private & Commercial Banking and Functional Heads of Department
Person Specification

Knowledge/Experience

  • Experience in a related role within financial services, e.g. digital product management, digital proposition/strategy, etc.
  • Relevant experience within the Private Banking / Wealth Sector
  • Experience of designing and delivering digital change 
  • Experience of managing and co-ordinating projects, process analyses and implementing operational process changes using digital solutions

  • Ability to think creatively and with commercial focus in respect of digital development, understanding client and user needs
  • Demonstrate technical skills and a breadth of understanding across a range of products and associated digital services; credit, banking & treasury, discretionary management services and retail investment, pension and protection products
  • Strong market and sector knowledge and insight
  • Clear focus on understanding and controlling risk, an attention to detail, prioritisation and organisational abilities
