Job Description
The successful candidate will work as part of the Regulatory Reporting team, within the Finance department. The focus of the role is to ensure that the Bank is compliant with all relevant financial regulation, including the preparation of reporting to the PRA. Furthermore, they will provide on-going informed analysis and support to the Head of Regulatory Reporting, the Head of Finance and Group Finance Director.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Interpretation of regulatory standards;

  • Interpretation and implementation of regulatory change including the UK equivalent of CRR2 and other Basel 3 changes include those to the Pillar 1 Credit Risk regime;

  • Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc regulatory returns (including COREP / PRA reporting /FCA returns);

  • Preparation and monitoring of key financial and regulatory metrics;

  • Assistance in the preparation of financial regulatory documents for Board review (including ICAAP, ILAAP, RP);

  • Proposing and implementing enhancements to the financial regulatory control framework;

  • Support the ongoing development of the WIRES regulatory reporting software;

  • Support the Regulatory Reporting team and the wider Finance department.

  • Management of team members as required

Person Specification

Knowledge / Experience

  • Capital Regulatory experience essential;

  • Liquidity regulatory experience desirable;

  • Strong IT skills (Excel);

  • Audit background desirable;

  • Financial Services experience essential;

  • Proven strong financial control experience

  • Technical accounting knowledge (IFRS);

Qualifications

Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA)
