Job Description

To work closely with hiring managers and key business stakeholders to identify, attract and source quality candidates in an efficient, collaborative and timely manner.

The successful candidate will support the Bank’s talent acquisition by building trusted internal relationships and sourcing exceptional candidates in a cost efficient manner (with a focus on direct and referral delivery).

The role will report into the Recruitment Manager and will fit within the wider HR team of ten.

Responsibilities:

 
  • Liaisie with Hiring Managers to understand their functions, teams, drivers and talent expectations.

  • Support, understand and guide stakeholders with their hiring needs

  • Review and edit job descriptions and adverts

  • Attract and source quality candidates through recommendations and referrals, on-line media/advertising streams and targeted headhunting.

  • Manage job-board postings

  • Maintain strong agency relationships within the PSL

  • Use the Applicant Tracking System (Eploy) to manage the candidate journey

  • Sift and (where appropriate) screen candidates to ensure the most relevant and capable are recommended to the Business for interview

  • Manage assessment criteria such as video interviews, psychometric tests & personality questionnaires

  • Help prepare interview documentation as and when required

  • Support Hiring Managers with interviews

  • Deliver job offers to candidates and where necessary manage any negotiations

  • Help produce monthly recruitment MI for Board

  • Work closely and collaboratively with the wider HR team on related recruitment matters and on-boarding

  • As we are a small team there will be opportunities to work on specific recruitment / wider HR projects.

Person Specification
  • Proven recruitment experience

  • Experience of conducting interviews / assessments

  • Good understanding of Banking or the wider FS industry

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to form trusted relationships with stakeholders and candidates of all levels

  • Considered and calm with a focus on quality

  • Experience of using an ATS system preferred

  • Excellent organisational skills
